Work Hours Reminder

Members are required to complete 10 work hours (15 if you are a tag checker) from April 11, 2014 through April 16, 2015. Work hours can be FUN! We will be hosting some home improvement parties to spruce up the clubhouse this winter (information will be posted to Facebook) or if anyone wants to take the lead on a project please contact a board member. You are responsible to input your work hours online and obtain board members approval or you have the option of paying $250 annually in lieu of completing these required work hours.

Sea Wall Assessment

Please be aware that if you have not yet paid your assessment we are still collecting and have payment options available. This was voted on by the membership and will be used to fund the rebuild of the Point sea wall. Those who have not yet paid please contact Bob Miljan for payment options. Not paying this fee will put your membership in jeopardy.

Seawall Update

  1. Sewall request to DEQ required an adjustment after being originally processed. The Adjustment increased the size of the project from small to a medium seawall project after the onsite review in November.
  2. Public Notice was published in December by the DEQ. Public notice is open for up to 90 days. The decision is expected in the near future.
  3. West Bloomfield Permit paperwork is ready to be submitted by American Marine upon DEQ approval.
  4. CEBIA was slated to be the first job for American Marine, but the change of job classification has presented a few month delay. We are in the work plan for 2015.
  5. Regular updates will occur on this project, as the milestones are achieved.
